  If you are in Majorca even for just one day, be sure to visit the Dragon Caves. It is less than 1 hour bus drive from Palma de Majorca city. The caves extend to a depth of 25 m and reach approximately 4 km in length. The caves have formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea. There is an underground lake situated in the caves called Martel Lake, which is about 115 m in length and 30 m in width, and its depth varies between four and twelve meters. In the end of the tour you'll be served a short classical concert performed by four musicians on a boat. Those 30-50 euros for the tour are well spent.

  The natural beauty of these caves is breathtaking. The mixture of water and rock is well lit, taking you far underneath Mallorcan surface and really back in time. For me, the highlight was the concert on the main lake, given from live musicians playing from a boat. The only thing...I felt like cattle being ushered through the path. There was constant stops and starts as the guides maintained crowd control. I assume this is all a necessary evil, with the volume of visitors received...however, I'd much prefer to wander amongst the beauty without so much of a schedule to keep.

  It's worthy the visit, very beautiful inside, make sure you wear good shoes as inside some places can be slippery. The Opera is also amazing. There are few boats after the opera presentation to take close to the exit but is not worth, the queue is so big just to be few seconds on the boat. The pizzeria outside is so good, a very tasty pizza, everyone should try when going there :)

  Impressive! Definitely worth the time and money. We were there during off season and it was still a good crowd. So if you are going during season, make sure to buy your tickets online and be there minimum 15 minutes before time to go in the caves. You'll not want to miss them! Spoiler...the classical music played from the boat is mystically wonderful as you sit in the dark, quiet, cave.

  Worth a visit. Very hot and damp inside so consider this before entering, but not necessarily a drawback. Quite a big cave and the live concert, however slightly cheesy, was very enjoyable. Afterwards they let you get on a boat so there is a lot of added value and one must really appreciate the effort they put into enhancing your experience.
